Job summary
ORONA UK is seeking an experienced Installation Engineer to join our Sunbury installation team. You will oversee the safe and efficient installation of new lift systems, ensuring projects meet specifications, are on time, and ready for testing.
The role involves coordinating with Contract Managers, Site Managers and clients, and mentoring Installation Mates, Improvers, or Apprentices. You will work across regional sites installing hydraulic, traction and MRL lift systems, adhering to EN-81
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Installation or equivalent is required.
- LEIA Units (Lift Technology) aligned with level responsibilities.
- SSSTS or equivalent is desirable for Senior/Lead roles.
- CSCS certification or eligibility to obtain it.
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
Responsibilities
- Review installation packs, specs and drawings before work starts.
- Survey and set out lift shafts prior to installation activity.
- Install hydraulic, traction and MRL lift systems to standards.
- Supervise and coach Installation Mates, Improvers or Apprentices.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and environmental standards.
- Maintain van and tools; complete timesheets, job sheets and reports.
