KONE is seeking an Improver to join the Heathrow team. You will assist qualified engineers with maintenance and repair of lifts and escalators, gaining hands-on experience and industry qualifications in a busy airport setting.

This entry-level role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and developing your technical skills through structured training and on-the-job coaching. A proactive attitude and driving license are preferred for progression within a global organisation.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified in engineering; working towards NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Good communication and customer-facing skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced airport environment and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Support qualified engineers with lifting equipment maintenance and repair.
• Assist with fault finding and troubleshooting to keep lifts safe and reliable.
• Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance under supervision.
• Follow KONE safety standards and Heathrow procedures.
• Record work accurately using KONE digital tools and systems.
