Job summary

Otis Elevator Co. is seeking a maintenance/service engineer to cover west London.

You will prioritise passenger safety by maintaining a portfolio of lifts and working across Camden Town, Harlesden and Cricklewood. On a typical day you will complete all maintenance visits in the area, manage the lift portfolio, respond to breakdowns with a first-time fix mindset, carry out minor repairs, and on-site liaison with customers to build strong relationships.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 qualified within lift service, maintenance and/or repair.
• Hold a valid UK drivers license.
• At least 24 months of experience in the elevator sector.
• Hands-on experience in electricity and electrical engineering.
• Safety-first professional.
• Comfortable communicating to others.
• Curious, adaptable, able to work alone or in a team.
• Comfortable using electronic and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 100% of the lift maintenance and service visits in west London ( Camden Town, Harlesden, Cricklewood ).

Role Overview

Your priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely maintaining a portfolio of lifts.

On a typical day you will:

• Carry out 100% of the lift maintenance and service visits of the units within the west of London, covering areas like Camden town, Harlesden and Cricklewood.


• Work within the defined area, managing the portfolio of lifts within it


• Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first time fix


• Carry out minor repairs to achieve continual operation


• Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship

What you will need to be successful

• NVQ level 3 qualified within lift service, maintenance and/or repair.


• Hold a valid UK drivers license


• You have at least 24 months of experience in the elevator sector


• You have hands on experience in electricity and electrical engineering


• You are a committed professional, with safety as your priority


• You are comfortable communicating to others


• You are curious, adaptable, and you know how to work alone or in a team


• You are comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
