Job summary

SER Limited in London is seeking an experienced Lift Engineer to service, maintain and install lift systems across customer sites. You will diagnose faults, carry out safety checks and ensure equipment operates to the highest standards.

The role requires field-based work with a full UK driving licence; salary £45,000–£50,000 DOE, plus benefits including a company vehicle, pension, 25 days holiday and overtime opportunities. OTE up to £70,000.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering is required.
• Proven lift engineering experience in servicing and maintenance.
• Experience with lift installation and fault-finding.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Professional customer service on-site.
• Must be able to diagnose and resolve faults.

The Role

As a Lift Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of service, maintenance and installation activities across customer sites.

Lift Engineer

£45,000 - £50,000 DOE, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, vehicle, pension, overtime.

OTE up to £70,000 per annum.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Servicing and maintaining lift systems
• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
• Installing new lift systems and associated equipment
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Carrying out fault-finding, repairs and component replacement
• Testing and commissioning lift equipment
• Identifying technical issues and resolving them efficiently
• Carrying out safety checks and ensuring equipment is operating correctly
• Working in accordance with relevant industry standards, regulations and company procedures
• Providing professional customer service while working on-site
• Completing service reports, job sheets and other relevant documentation
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and professionalism
