Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is partnering with a global leader in industrial vertical access equipment to recruit a skilled Lift Engineer to join their team in the UK. The role combines on-site troubleshooting with installation support and requires a strong mechanical or electrical engineering background.

You will diagnose faults, work overtime with generous rates, receive a company van, fuel card, and 33 days holiday. National and international travel possible, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or electrical engineering background with fault-finding skills.
• NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, traction, or lift engineering.
• Full UK driving licence and valid passport.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults, including VFCs and PLCs.
• Supporting installation, inspection, and commissioning of equipment.
• Collaborating with service, installation, commissioning, and support teams.
• Completing service documentation accurately and on time.
• Adhering to company and client safety policies and procedures.
• Representing the company professionally on-site and in vehicle presentation.
• Participating in emergency out-of-hours support and being flexible with travel and working hours.
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assisting with other field or workshop tasks as required.
