Job summary

Marmon Lift Recruitment Ltd in Woking is seeking a Lift Engineer to service and maintain a portfolio of lifts across a West London route. The role includes planned servicing, inspections, fault diagnosis, and customer liaison.

You will work with modern equipment, receive a company van, fuel card, pension, and funded NVQ Level 4 progression, plus ongoing training and long-term career development within a supportive engineering team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Previous experience servicing and maintaining lifts is essential.
• Knowledge of a variety of lift manufacturers & control systems is required.
• Strong fault-finding skills with ability to work independently.
• Able to manage a dedicated West London service route efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned servicing and preventative maintenance across a dedicated portfolio of lifts throughout West London.
• Complete routine inspections, identify defects, and carry out minor repairs to ensure equipment remains safe and reliable.
• Diagnose faults during servicing visits and recommend appropriate repair work.
• Record service activities, defects, and parts requirements, using company systems.
• Liaise professionally with customers, providing updates and maintaining excellent service standards.
• Work safely, ensuring compliance with industry standards, company procedures, and health & safety regulations.

Skills
