Job summary

Otis London is seeking a Lift Engineer to be based in London. Your role focuses on safely installing elevator and escalator units while upholding safety standards and customer service on-site.

You will typically install elevators, follow EH&S guidelines, and may stay away overnight as required. Strong electrical/mechanical skills, plan-reading ability, and a valid driver's license are essential.

Qualifications

• As a qualified Engineer, it is essential that you have knowledge of elevator equipment and that you can apply elevator engineering principles to Installation.
• You are qualified to install elevators to the standards set in your country.
• You hold a driver's license.
• You have at least 6 months of experience in the field of elevators, ideally acquired in the assembly activity or at least experience on site and / or installation.
• You have good electrical and mechanical skills.
• You are comfortable with plan reading and calculations.
• You have an appetite for technical products and new technologies.
• You appreciate manual trades as well as the satisfaction of seeing the finished work.

Responsibilities
