Job summary

Stannah is seeking a dedicated Lift Service Engineer to cover Cambridge and surrounding areas. You will service, fault-find and repair lifts, ensuring safe operation and compliance on a day‑to‑day basis, with support from a local team when required.

The role includes completing logs, keeping customers informed and prioritising safety. A NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent) plus a valid UK driving licence are essential for this field-based position.

• Experience working as a lift engineer (service/repair)
• Full UK driving licence

Salary Up to £53,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience level.

Working Hours:
Monday–Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45
Friday: 08:00 – 15:45 (early finish)

We’re looking for a Lift Service Engineer to cover a route across Cambridge and surrounding areas.

You’ll be looking after your own patch — servicing lifts, fault finding, and keeping things running safely day‑to‑day, with support from a local team when you need it.

Your Patch:

• Covering Cambridge and nearby areas
• Structured route (no random national travel)
• Mix of commercial, residential and public sites
• Mostly staying within your allocated area

Lift Engineer Responsibilities:

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and routine maintenance
• Attending breakdowns and callouts
• Fault finding and getting lifts back up and running
• Keeping sites safe and compliant
• Completing site logs and basic paperwork

Lift Engineer Requirements:
