Oakland Care is seeking a Lifestyles Assistant in Tonbridge to plan and deliver a lively activity programme for residents. You will organise events, excursions, and social gatherings, helping residents explore hobbies and build confidence in social settings.
Ideal candidates enjoy music, crafts, and one-to-one support, bringing warmth, creativity, and kindness to every interaction while working with the Lifestyles Manager.
Are you energetic, creative, and passionate about bringing joy to others? We’re looking for a talented Lifestyles Assistant to join our team and help create fun, meaningful, and engaging experiences for our residents. From games and crafts to music sessions and exciting outings, you’ll play a key role in delivering activities that enrich daily life and promote well‑being. If you’re confident leading group sessions, enjoy offering one‑to‑one support, and want to make a real difference in a luxurious, supportive setting, we’d love to hear from you!
In this rewarding role, you’ll help plan and deliver a vibrant programme of activities that enrich daily life for our residents. Working closely with the Lifestyles Manager, you’ll support the organisation of key events, encourage residents to build confidence in social settings, and develop new activity ideas based on their personal hobbies and interests. Whether you’re organising a group craft session, leading musical activities, supporting an art or knitting club, or inspiring residents one‑to‑one, you’ll bring warmth, creativity, and genuine kindness to everything you do.
We’re looking for someone with experience supporting vulnerable individuals, ideally with a background in designing or delivering activity programmes. A love for music, plenty of creativity, and the confidence to run both group and 1‑2‑1 sessions are essential. You’ll need excellent organisational, planning, and IT skills, along with basic photography abilities and the capacity to manage your time effectively. Above all, your positive energy, compassion, and ability to build strong relationships will help residents feel supported and empowered.
Our mission is to provide exceptional homes for people to live, love and be loved where everyone is part of our family.
