Job summary

Ridley Park Care Home in Blyth is seeking a part-time Lifestyle & Wellness Co-ordinator to create vibrant, therapeutic activities for residents. You will run sessions, plan events within a budget, and coordinate with local performers to organise enjoyable days out. This role also supports reminiscence activities and social media updates.

The position requires a creative, enthusiastic individual who can manage priorities and bring energy to residents’ daily lives.

Qualifications

• Creative thinker with ideas for activities and events.
• Able to manage budgets and maintain paperwork.
• Strong prioritisation and organisational skills to handle shifting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Run morning and afternoon activity sessions.
• Produce and update an activity planner within the home’s budget.
• Organise birthday surprises for residents.
• Liaise with external companies/performers for days out/events.
• Arrange one-to-one activities with residents ( reminiscence tools, puzzles, reading, or chats ).
• Support the home's social media channels as required.

One week includes working every other weekend (10:00am-4:00pm) plus one weekday shift. Activities aren't just fun; they're also therapeutic.
