Job summary

Hallmark Luxury Care Homes is seeking a dedicated Lifestyles Lead to enrich residents’ lives through a varied activity programme. You will work closely with residents, relatives and colleagues to tailor experiences that promote health, independence and fulfilment.

The role focuses on creativity, empathy and strong organisational skills within a values‑led, family-run care home group in England and Wales.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar Lifestyles/activities role within care homes or similar settings.
• Ability to design person-centred activity plans and engage residents meaningfully.
• Strong communication skills with residents, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver a varied programme of activities tailored to residents’ needs.
• Engage residents and relatives to encourage participation and social interaction.
• Collaborate with the care team to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling activities and adapting to preferences.

Your role is vital in ensuring that our residents lead healthier, more independent, and fulfilling lives. You'll work closely with residents, relatives, friends, and colleagues to understand their needs, interests, and abilities, and tailor activities accordingly. Your creativity, initiative, and passion for making a difference will shine through in everything you do.

What You'll Need

• Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is essential, demonstrating your ability to positively influence others and communicate effectively with residents.
• Empathy and Compassion: A natural ability to build rapport, understand residents' needs, and compile social care plans to support them.
• Initiative and Creativity: Bring your creativity and initiative to the role, constantly seeking new ways to enhance our residents' lives.
• Organisational Skills: Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively and retain information accurately.
• Passion for Care: Above all, you have a genuine passion for helping others lead fulfilling lives and thrive in an environment where every day is varied and rewarding.

• Programme of Activities: Create and organise a diverse range of activities based on the needs, wishes, and desires of our residents.
• Resident Engagement: Liaise with residents, relatives, and colleagues to encourage involvement in planned activities and promote social interaction.
