Job summary

Cowdray Estate in Chichester is seeking a Lifestyle & Farm Shop Assistant to join our team on a part-time, casual basis at Little Cowdray. The role covers both the Lifestyle shop and the Farm Shop, delivering excellent customer service and helping with day-to-day store presentation.

You will assist with merchandising, handle deliveries and restocking, and work with colleagues to create a welcoming shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service and a friendly, approachable manner.
• Previous retail or hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service across both the Lifestyle and Farm Shop areas.
• Support the smooth day-to-day running of the store, ensuring high standards of presentation.

The Position:

We are seeking enthusiastic and a reliable individual to join our team as a Lifestyle & Farm Shop Assistant. This is a varied and engaging role, offering the opportunity to work across both the Lifestyle shop and the Farm Shop.

You will:

• Deliver excellent customer service across both the Lifestyle and Farm Shop areas
• Support the smooth day-to-day running of the store, ensuring high standards of presentation throughout
• Assist with merchandising and maintaining beautifully presented lifestyle displays
• Handle deliveries, restocking and general shop floor duties
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a welcoming, friendly and inspiring shopping environment

Full training will be provided, including deli counter service and product knowledge across both retail areas.

The Candidate:

A genuine interest in food, lifestyle products and customer service is essential. Previous retail or hospitality experience is preferred.
