Job Description

From greeting our members and guests with a smile to supervising the team in the pools and swimming changing rooms, the position of Lifeguard Supervisor at Exeter Golf and Country Club is a varied one!

Committed to maintaining the highest levels of safety and attentiveness while at poolside, as a Lifeguard you need excellent attention to detail and the ability to work well within a team and alone.

Confident and assertive in dealing with all ages, while being welcoming and friendly, you will cover all areas of the pools and changing rooms from a usage and cleanliness point of view.

Experience and Qualifications

• Must have a valid RLSS NPLQ qualification – essential
• Work flexibility
• Experience supervising a team (preferable but not essential)
• Supervise the pool according to RLSS standards and club rules
• Lead by example
• Positively deal with and learn from members' feedback and concerns

Additional responsibilities include greeting members and visitors with a smile, maintaining the plant rooms, carrying out pool tests, cleaning pools, maintaining water quality, liaising with the operational team, reporting maintenance, prioritising works, and undertaking duties assigned by the Head of Swimming.
