Job summary

Freedom Leisure is recruiting Lifeguards to join our team across England and Wales. You’ll help create a safe, welcoming environment in our leisure facilities and benefit from fully funded training in the recognised NPLQ lifeguarding qualification.

Hours are 12 per week on a rota basis, with shifts Monday to Sunday. We offer a company pension, staff discounts, and extensive development opportunities as part of a supportive employer.

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification or equivalent.
• First Aid at Work (desirable).
• Enhanced DBS check.
• Ability to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and to staff at all levels.
• Well developed interpersonal skills.
• Team oriented, able to work across organisation boundaries.
• Flexible and able to follow managers' instructions.
• Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry.
• Regular cleaning, maintenance and preparation of areas and equipment as appropriate.

We are offering fully funded training in the recognised NPLQ lifeguarding qualification which will give you the skills to excel.

• An ability and understanding of how to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and also to all levels of staff
• Well developed interpersonal skills
• Team orientated approach, able to work across organisation boundaries and demonstrate interest and be supportive of the work of staff and colleagues
• To be able to work flexibly and understand instructions from managers
• Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry
• Regular cleaning, maintenance and preparation of areas and equipment as appropriate
