Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a Lifeguard to join our team. Casual hours, as and when required, with training provided to ensure high safety and service standards across our leisure centres.

You will work with a supportive team to help customers enjoy clean, safe facilities and participate in activities that promote wellbeing. We offer training, DBS checks, flexible hours, and opportunities for permanent positions within a values-driven charitable leisure trust.

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification (training provided)
• Enhanced DBS check
• Ability to relate to customers of all ages and abilities
• Well developed interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, clean and safe facilities for customers.
• Deliver high levels of customer service and support across shifts.
• Respond to poolside emergencies following training and keep people safe.

In the role of Lifeguard, you will ensure the best levels of service are achieved for our customers through offering a friendly, clean and safe facilities.

Hours: Casual hours, as and when required

• NPLQ qualification however training can be provided
• Enhanced DBS check to be carried out
• An ability and understanding of how to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and also to all levels of staff
• Well developed interpersonal skills
• Team orientated approach, able to work across organisation boundaries and demonstrate interest and be supportive of the work of staff and colleagues
• To be able to work flexibly and understand instructions from managers
• Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry
• Flexible and adaptable
