Job summary

Virgin Active is recruiting two part-time lifeguards to join our Operations Team at our Greater London clubs. You will supervise pool and spa areas, ensure member safety, and deliver exceptional service in a welcoming environment.

Training to Level 2 Award in Pool Lifeguarding is provided over a five-day course. We offer extensive benefits, including generous annual leave, pension access, free membership for you and a buddy, and numerous discounts across Virgin Group.

Qualifications

• Pool lifeguard with focus on safety and member experience.
• Must be able to perform water testing and safety checks.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pool and spa areas to ensure safety of members and guests.
• Deliver exceptional customer service in a friendly, welcoming manner.
• Carry out routine poolside safety checks and record results.
• Respond quickly to emergencies following procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of poolside, spa and changing facilities.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and training requirements.
• Support Operations team in day-to-day club activities.
• Undertake Duty Manager responsibilities when required.
