Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking Lifeguards for casual, as-needed hours across its centres. You’ll develop teamwork and communication skills while meeting people from all walks of life.

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification or equivalent.
• First Aid at Work.
• Enhanced DBS check.
• Ability to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and to all levels of staff.
• Well developed interpersonal skills.
• Team oriented approach, able to work across organisation boundaries and support staff and colleagues.
• Able to work flexibly and follow manager instructions.
• Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety in pool and supervise swimmers.
• Deliver friendly, high-quality customer service to all ages.
• Assist in day-to-day lifeguard duties and respond to incidents.
• Support staff development and contribute to a positive team environment.

Our Lifeguards are an integral part of our team and have gone on to become Swim Teachers, Supervisors and even more, we will support you to develop to reach your potential!
