Job summary

Freedom Leisure is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure friendly, clean and safe facilities for customers across our centres. Casual hours, as and when required, with training provided. You must hold an NPLQ qualification or equivalent and be a competent swimmer; an enhanced DBS will be carried out.

You will relate well to customers of all ages and abilities and collaborate with staff. We value team players with strong interpersonal skills, flexible working attitude, and a passion for the leisure

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification or equivalent.
• Competent swimmer – swim test will need to be completed as part of the interview process.
• Enhanced DBS check to be carried out.
• Ability to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and to all levels of staff.
• Well developed interpersonal skills.
• Team oriented approach, able to work across organisation boundaries and support staff and colleagues.
• Flexible and able to understand manager instructions.
• Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry.

In the role of Lifeguard, you will ensure the best levels of service are achieved for our customers through offering a friendly, clean and safe facilities.
