Job summary

Freedom Leisure in the United Kingdom is hiring Lifeguards to ensure safe, friendly and inclusive experiences across our leisure centres. You will help maintain a clean, well‑run pool area and assist customers to enjoy a positive visit.

We offer training, flexible casual hours, DBS checks, and a benefits package. Closing date: 20 November 2026. Salary: Up to £12.71 per hour.

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification or equivalent.
• Competent swimmer with swim test as part of interview.
• Enhanced DBS check to be carried out.
• Ability to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and to staff at all levels.
• Well developed interpersonal skills.
• Team oriented approach across organisation boundaries and supportive of staff and colleagues.

In the role of Lifeguard, you will ensure the best levels of service are achieved for our customers through offering a friendly, clean and safe facilities.

Hours: Casual hours, as and when required.
