GLL is seeking a Flexible Lifeguard to join WINDRUSH LEISURE CENTRE. This role goes beyond guarding; you’ll help keep the pool safe, clean and welcoming while delivering excellent customer service to our members and visitors.

You’ll rotate around the pool, assist with equipment and set ups, and support the team with studios, gyms or sports halls when not poolside. A positive attitude and reliability are essential; NPLQ is preferred, with training provided where needed.

Competenze

• Must be aged 18 or over due to lifeguarding duties.
• NPLQ qualification with up-to-date training records, or eligibility for training after swim test.

What you need:

• Ideally, you'll have your National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) with up to date NPLQ training records and if not the NPLQ training can be provided subject to passing a swim test.

Applicants must be aged 18 or over due to the requirement for this role to undertake lifeguarding duties independently, in line with GLL’s Under 18s & Sole Lifeguard Policy.

What you’ll do:

• You will experience regular pool rotations
• Supervising and cleaning the pool area
• Setting up equipment
• Deliver first-class customer service
• Deal with customer queries
• When not poolside you will be a key support to your team on a daily basis from preparing Studios, Gyms or Sports Halls for various activities to the general cleaning and upkeep of the centre.
