Job summary

GLL is seeking a Lifeguard to join Whiterock Leisure Centre in Belfast. This part-time role is ideal for someone who values safety and excellent customer service, with flexible hours and a path to a rewarding career within a charitable social enterprise.

You will rotate the pool, supervise and clean the pool area, set up equipment, and provide first-class student and guest support. A uniform is provided and ongoing training is available.

Qualifications

• National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) with up-to-date training records.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Knowledge of health and safety protocols.
• Able to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Experience regular pool rotations.
• Supervising and cleaning the pool area.
• Setting up equipment for activities.
• Deliver first-class customer service to guests.
• Deal with customer queries and concerns.
• Support the team when not poolside (studios, gyms or sports halls) and assist with general upkeep.
