Job summary

Warner Hotels at Littlecote House in Hungerford is seeking a Lifeguard Team Member to oversee pool safety and guest welfare, delivering friendly service in a busy leisure environment.

You will monitor swimming areas, perform rescues and first aid when needed, educate guests on pool rules, and collaborate with the Leisure team to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility for all guests during their stay.

Qualifications

• National Pool Lifeguard qualification (RLSS) is required.
• Swim a minimum of 100 metres.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to engage guests.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure safety of guests in and around swimming areas.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
• Perform rescue techniques and administer first aid as needed.

Join our team at Littlecote House, part of the Warner Hotels Group. This Grade I listed 208-bedroom hotel in Hungerford is steeped in history and includes a spa, entertainment area, and dining facilities.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Lifeguard Team Member to join our team at Warner Hotels. As part of our supportive Leisure team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our guests while they enjoy our swimming pool and leisure facilities. You'll be responsible for maintaining a safe environment, carrying out poolside supervision, responding to incidents when required, and delivering excellent customer service. Alongside the Leisure Manager and wider team, you will be a fundamental part of creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for every guest throughout their stay.

What skills do I need?

• National Pool Lifeguard qualification (RLSS).
• Able to swim a minimum of 100 meters
• Work independently and proudly, providing exceptional customer service and cleanliness throughout the leisure department.
• Ensure a safe, secure, and appealing environment is maintained for team and guests by following the company Health and Safety Policy
