Confident and assertive in dealing with all ages, while being welcoming and friendly, our Lifeguards cover all areas of the pools and changing rooms from a usage and cleanliness point of view.

Experience

• Supervise the pool according to RLSS standards and club rules
• Lead by example
• Positively deal with and learn from members' feedback and concerns
• Greet members and visitors at all times with a smile
• Keep the plant rooms in good condition
• Carry out pool tests and address any issues
• Clean all pools and maintain high water quality
• Maintain cleanliness around the pool area
• Liaise with line manager to ensure minimal disruption during works
• Report routine maintenance of the club’s equipment
• Coordinate with the operational team for smooth operations
• Prioritize works and keep the team informed
• Undertake any other duties as directed by the Head of Swimming
• Arrive on time, in correct uniform (clean, smart, presentable)
• Follow all procedures set in place
• Seek continuous improvement of current practices
• Promote equal opportunities and ensure policies are followed
• Promote products and services within the club
• Ensure cost-effective and standard-compliant work practices
• Maintain knowledge of departmental standards
