Job description

Techary redefines the way customers procure, implement, and support their organisations' technology, providing an innovative alternative to the traditional Managed Service Provider (MSP) / Value-Added Reseller (VAR) approach.

Our concept, “Technology, done differently”, embodies our belief that the way our customersconsume and utilize technologyshould innovate at the same pace as the technology itself.

Our customers range from small start-ups to global enterprises. From designing, deploying and managing infrastructure stacks within low-latency financial trading environments, to relocating the headquarters of a global fintech firm, our operations span multiple markets, industries and geographies.

Techary have helped customers scale their operations globally, gain an advantage in financial markets, enabled mission-critical projects and, most importantly, implemented technology that delivers alpha-accelerating business transformation.

The Role

Techary redefines the way customers procure, implement, and support their organisation's technology. We are looking for an experienced Lifecycle Team Lead to coordinate and strengthen our global Lifecycle function, ensuring customers receive consistent, high-quality build, deployment, and asset lifecycle services across every Techary location.

This role sits at the centre of our device lifecycle operation, spanning Orpington (UK), New Jersey (US), Amsterdam, and our upcoming Singapore office. You will be the day-to-day driving force behind consistent delivery, keeping builds on track, the team supported, and standards high across every site.

Duties & Responsibilities

Global build delivery & SLA ownership

  • Coordinate day-to-day Lifecycle build activity across Orpington, New Jersey, Amsterdam, and Singapore, keeping work on track against SLA.
  • Support the streamlining of build processes for managed services and lifecycle customers, identifying and helping implement practical improvements.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for build issues, unblocking the team and looping in your manager when needed.

Team leadership & development

  • Line manage 2 current direct reports, providing regular coaching, day-to-day guidance, and performance support.
  • Help identify training needs and support the team in achieving relevant hardware fixing accreditations.
  • Coordinate resourcing and workload across sites, flagging capacity or skills gaps to line manager.
  • Ensure Lifecycle dashboards and reports are kept live, accurate, and visible for all customers.
  • Provide regular SLA and performance updates to your line manager

Reverse logistics & warehouse operations

  • Ensure the team completes reverse logistics triage requests within 10 working days of arrival at a Techary warehouse.
  • Monitor warehouse throughput and flag bottlenecks or recurring issues.
  • Review and document all current customer build processes and time taken to look where they can be streamlined.
  • Feed process improvement ideas up to your manager and support testing of new tools.
  • Creation of a build server to automate manual customer builds

Asset management

  • Support the team in maintaining accurate asset records, contributing to the wider adoption of asset management within the Lifecycle function.
  • Ensure user, hardware and warranty information is captured
  • Build reports for upcoming warranty expirations for customers for a proactive refresh approach

Technical & operational experience

  • Strong background in device build, deployment, and lifecycle management (Windows and macOS), ideally within an MSP or similarly fast-paced, multi-client environment.
  • Working knowledge of Asset Management Platforms, ITSM/ticketing tools, and remote deployment tooling (e.g. Intune, Autopilot, JAMF).
  • Desired but not essential knowledge on e-waste/compliance processes.
  • Comfortable working with dashboards and reporting tools, with an eye for accuracy and consistency.
  • Experience supervising, coaching, or mentoring junior technical staff.
  • Comfortable coordinating work across remote or international colleagues.
  • Clear, confident communicator, equally comfortable with technical and non-technical audiences.

Approach

  • Hands-on and organised, with a genuine interest in making processes run more smoothly for the team and for customers.
  • Exposure to, or strong interest in, automation and process improvement within an IT operations context.

At Techary, we embrace a family culture and believe in working as a team to overcome any challenge we face.

Employee benefits include:

  • 25 days leave per annum
  • Birthday as an additional day's leave
  • Support for Professional Training (Microsoft, Cisco etc)
  • Private Medical Insurance, including gym discounts, dentist and optical cashback schemes
  • Free breakfast, snacks and drinks
  • Lunch provided Friday

Job Type: Permanent
