Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting a Lifecycle Project Manager for a major healthcare contract in Birmingham. You will lead variations, lifecycle and small capital projects end-to-end, ensuring scope, budget and programme are met while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

You will manage client and contractor relationships, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, review design and tender documents, and drive project governance and continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience in FM, maintenance, construction or building services projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience.
• Experience with lifecycle or capital projects across large estates.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the delivery of variations, lifecycle and small capital projects from inception through to completion.
• Manage project budgets, P&L, costs, margins and financial performance.
• Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring works are delivered on time and within budget.
• Build and maintain relationships with end client, SPV, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate contractors, suppliers and operational teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently.
• Identify and manage project risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Ensure all projects comply with health & safety, CDM, regulations and requirements.
• Review designs, specifications, drawings and tender documentation.
• Monitor contractor performance and health & safety practices.
• Manage snagging, defects and close-out within agreed timescales.
• Plan works to minimise disruption in a live healthcare environment.
• Manage invoicing, receipting, payments and change control.
• Support wider teams to meet contractual requirements and KPIs.
• Contribute to governance and continuous improvement across the site.

Lifecycle Project Manager - Birmingham - Global Facilities Management Organisation: Healthcare

CBW Staffing Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading Facilities Management organisation, working on a major healthcare contract in Birmingham.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in FM, maintenance, construction or building services projects to take full responsibility for the delivery of variations, lifecycle and small capital projects across a large and complex estate.

The successful candidate will manage projects from initial concept through to completion, taking responsibility for project delivery, commercial performance, health & safety, contractors and stakeholder relationships.

Package

• Competitive salary between £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

• Ensure works are carefully planned to minimise disruption to patients, staff and building users within a live healthcare environment
• Manage financial processes including invoicing, receipting, payment applications and change control
• Support the wider Project, Lifecycle and Operational teams to ensure contractual requirements and KPIs are achieved
• Contribute to continuous improvement and effective project governance across the site

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within Facilities Management, Building Services, Construction or Maintenance
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets, costs and supplier contracts as well as managing contractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams
• Experience managing small works, lifecycle or capital projects across a large and complex estate
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Project
• Experience using CAFM, estates or project management systems
• Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple projects and deliver against challenging deadlines
