Job summary

The National Armaments Director Group seeks a Through Life Equipment Support professional to coordinate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) support across the E-7 Wedgetail and P-8 Poseidon programmes at Lossiemouth. Regular in-person attendance (about 60% of the week) is required to foster collaboration with military colleagues and industry partners.

You will oversee lifecycle sustainment, obsolescence and reliability matters, and help implement supportability improvements to keep equipment

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Asset Management Systems or Through Life Support services.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Ability to investigate and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate supportability bodies of evidence and reports to ensure risk management controls are considered in business areas and with customers and suppliers.
• Manage verification and validation of ILS process delivery to set equipment support policy directives.
• Communicate through life logistic support data repositories and information access rights.
• Adhere to governance and assurance policies to ensure cost affordability, supportability and defence envelopes.
