Job summary

Rolls-Royce Submarines in Faslane seeks a Lifecycle Engineer on a 2-year secondment to support NSRP planning and maintenance scheduling. The role collaborates with customers, partners and internal teams to optimise BMPs and NSRP availability.

The position offers hybrid working with office, home, or other remote locations, with attendance required for collaboration as needed. A strong engineering background and stakeholder liaison skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication across multiple stakeholders (Babcock, JPTs, Ships Staff, Rolls-Royce).
• Understanding of NSRP and base maintenance planning.
• Engineering qualification and related skill set.
• Good interpersonal skills to support IMRS activities on site.
• Ability to adapt plans in dynamic situations.
• Willingness to broaden knowledge with challenging customers and frontline SM base.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning NSRP Maintenance items during BMPs.
• Assist with contract development for RR work conducted in BMPs.
• Optimise planning to achieve programme targets.
• Generate and implement RR inspections and testing regimes.
• Drive out waste from programmes and partner with customers.
• Identify Availability Optimisation opportunities.
• Work with Joint Project Teams (JPTs).
