  • Use digital systems to securely record and track learner progress and outcomes.
  • Lead continuous improvement by gathering feedback from learners, families, and stakeholders.
  • Design and deliver accessible teaching resources that align with learner goals and organisational objectives.
  • Supervise and support the life skills team, including performance monitoring and development.
  • Promote and uphold safeguarding, equality, and inclusive practice throughout all sessions.
  • Contribute to organisational strategy by providing data-driven reports and insights into learner development.

The Life Skills Support Worker will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Proven experience in developing and delivering life skills or vocational training in education, supported living, or social care.
  • Prior experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or other additional needs is highly desirable.
  • A recognised qualification in teaching or assessing (e.g., Level 3 Award in Education and Training or equivalent).
  • A vocational qualification in training or assessment is an advantage.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or currently working towards it.
  • Solid understanding of safeguarding, equality, and diversity in educational and care settings.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
  • Experience in staff management, mentoring, or performance review is essential.

You will be working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Appointment will be subject to DBS clearance, right to work checks and satisfactory references.
