Job summary

Equals One Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a Life Sciences Internal Sales Executive to grow sales from an assigned portfolio, mainly C and D accounts, through proactive customer contact by phone and email. You will reactivate lapsed customers and generate new opportunities, reporting to the UK Head of Sales.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in life sciences.
• Strong telephone communication skills and ability to build relationships.
• Target-driven with KPIs and productive activity levels.
• Experience with CRM systems and data entry to maintain records.
• Sales or telesales experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales from an assigned portfolio, primarily C and D accounts, to meet targets.
• Proactively contact customers by telephone to understand requirements and opportunities.
• Review data to identify cross-sell and repeat business opportunities.
• Reactivate inactive customers through outbound calling and follow-up.
• Research and contact prospects to generate and qualify new business opportunities.
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads and pass them to the appropriate team member.
• Arrange qualified appointments for field-based Sales Executives.
• Prepare and follow up quotations in line with company processes.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of interactions, opportunities and quotations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Customer Service teams to achieve objectives.
