Job summary

Survitec Group Limited is seeking a Service Technician in Southampton to inspect, service and maintain lifejackets, liferafts and immersion suits, ensuring safety and quality in every task.

The role involves hands-on work, driving between sites, and supporting warehouse activities, with full training provided and opportunities to grow your skills across life-saving equipment and related products.

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical, workshop or engineering environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow processes, procedures and technical instructions.
• Practical, hands-on approach with willingness to learn.
• Positive team player with proactive attitude.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, servicing and maintaining lifejackets, liferafts, immersion suit and associated safety equipment in line with Survitec procedures and quality standards.
• Following detailed work instructions and ensuring all work is completed accurately.
• Supporting warehouse and stores activities, including handling equipment and stock.
• Driving between customer sites and operational locations when required.
• Maintaining accurate service records and documentation.
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure safety, quality and customer service.
