Job summary

Protec Fire & Security Group Ltd is seeking a proactive bid professional to join the Custodial Department. You will craft quotations and methodologies, submit compliant bids, and support with technical documents for high-security life safety projects across the UK.

You’ll combine electrical design know‑how with cost estimation, site surveys, and coordination with Sales, Projects, and Design to ensure compelling, compliant tenders for government and MoD‑connected sites.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification required.
• Experience designing and costing new installations in a similar role.
• Working knowledge of current British Standards.
• Ability to read and produce technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Create winning proposals and submit accurate quotations aligned with client needs and British Standards.
• Support bid writing with methodologies and technical documents that stand out.
• Produce conceptual electronic designs and wiring schematics for future projects.
• Collaborate with Sales, Projects and Design to deliver spot‑on quotations.
