Job summary

Sellick Partnership Limited - Private Practice is seeking a Licensing Partner to join its Manchester office and lead the Licensing & Regulatory team. The role focuses on advising on licensing and regulatory matters for a broad client base, including commercial and public sector clients.

The ideal candidate will bring seniority, a proven client following, and strong technical licensing skills to drive growth and strengthen the firm’s national licensing practice.

Qualifications

• Significant experience advising on Licensing Act 2003 matters.
• Strong technical knowledge across licensing and regulatory work.
• Excellent client management and communication skills.
• A commercial and proactive approach.
• The ability to develop and maintain client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Advise on a broad range of licensing and regulatory matters.
• Act for a diverse portfolio of commercial and public sector clients.
• Handle matters including premises licences, licensing applications, variations, reviews, personal licences and related regulatory issues.
• Represent clients in negotiations, hearings and disputes where required.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Play an active role in business development and growing the Licensing practice.
• Work alongside experienced lawyers across the wider firm on multi-disciplinary matters.
• Contribute to the strategic development and growth of the team.
