PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Dover is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide nursing care under the direction of an RN. You will gather data, follow orders, and perform therapeutic procedures for patients in an age-appropriate manner.

Qualified candidates hold current LPN/LVN licensure and BLS (AHA) certification; IV certification may be required within 90 days. One year of inpatient Med-Surg experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must hold current LPN/LVN licensure in the state or compact jurisdiction.
• BLS certification required; AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• IV certification within 90 days if required by state regulations.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care under RN supervision on the unit.

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) is responsible for providing appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit. Functions include gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Education and Training: Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification required. BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.

• Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required
