About

Come join our growing facility at the Laurels of Kettering located in the heart of Kettering, Ohio. Our facility is expanding from a 60-bed to a 90-bed capacity, including 30 skilled nursing beds. We are situated in one of Dayton's most desirable suburbs, within a wooded, park-like setting.

Role Overview

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with The Laurels of Kettering, you will work as part of a team providing high-quality care to our guests. If you have patience, compassion, and a desire to care for guests in a gentle and empathetic way, you will love this role. We reward experience accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care provided by CNAs/STNAs and other team members
• Administer safe and accurate medication interventions
• Assess guest health and notify physicians of changes; implement new orders
• Develop and execute nursing interventions to stabilize or improve guest conditions
• Contribute to guest assessments and care plans

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in long-term care preferred
• Current LPN licensure in Ohio
• CPR certification
