Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Farnborough is seeking a Licensed Mechanical Inspector for night shifts to support 4x4 1900-0700 operations. The role requires UK CAA Aircraft Maintenance License and Part 145 certification and involves certifying tasks and supervising maintenance inputs.

Successful candidates will manage inspection duties per MOE Part 145, coordinate with team leaders, and ensure quality documentation is completed to standard across Farnborough and other locations.

Qualifications

• UK CAA Aircraft Maintenance License required.
• Relevant aircraft Type Ratings required.
• Certification experience within a Part 145 organization.

Responsibilities

• Act as inspector for specific aircraft line or base maintenance input.
• Perform day-to-day duties of Licensed Mechanical Senior Inspector when requested.
• Daily management of manpower resources for licensed inspectors and fitters.
• Certify tasks trained and authorised to perform at Farnborough and worldwide.
• Promote and ensure maintenance documentation is completed before end of each shift.
• Carry out Category ‘C’ Certification for those qualified with MOE Part 34.
