Spire Solicitors LLP is recruiting for licensed conveyancers, legal executives, or solicitors to join our Residential Conveyancing team across multiple offices. You will handle varied property transactions, work closely with buyers, agents and investors, and drive a high standard of client service.

Qualifications

• Newly qualified solicitors or experienced fee earners.
• Experience in residential conveyancing with a fee-earning target.

Responsibilities

• Handle a varied caseload of residential conveyancing from instruction to completion.
• Meet with clients and agents to ensure seamless transactions.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, leases and related documents.
• Provide support and advice throughout the conveyancing process.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and financial requirements.
• Maintain accurate records for each transaction.
• Monitor costs and aged debt disbursements on matters.
• Keep clients informed on progress and costs.
• Lead and support staff and other team members.
• Engage in business development and networking to promote services.

The Candidate

• We are open to applications from newly qualified solicitors and experienced fee earners.
• The ideal candidates will have experience undertaking residential conveyancing work with a fee earning target.
• Candidates should hold relevant legal qualifications.
• Successful candidates should be committed to providing excellent standards of client care, be commercially astute, and have working knowledge of conveyancing practice and procedures.
• We are looking for people with great time management, IT and communication skills and someone who appreciates the importance of attention to detail.

The Role

This role will see the successful candidates undertaking the following tasks:

• Handling of a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, from instruction through to completion, with a fee earning target.
• Liaising and meeting with clients and agents, building strong rapport, to ensure a seamless transaction process.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating options, contracts, leases, and other property-related documents.
• Providing support and advice to clients throughout the conveyancing process.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory, financial and compliance requirements.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation for each transaction.
• Taking responsibility for credit control on your own matters. This will include monitoring costs, work in progress and aged debt disbursements.
• Ensuring clients are kept regularly informed on progress and costs.
• Leading and supporting your staff as well as supporting other support staff.
• Contributing to a positive and supportive team dynamic.
• Participating in business development opportunities and networking events to promote firm services.

About the Team

The Residential Conveyancing team are approachable, personal, professional and efficient individuals that guide and support clients through buying and selling property, equity release, remortgaging a property, transfer of equity and voluntary first registration of land.
