Job summary

Devereux Educational Strategies and Solutions (DESS) seeks a Licensed Behavior Specialist to provide behavioral support supervision to RBTs and IAs in elementary settings, and to partner with school teams to implement ABA-based strategies.

This 10-month school-year role offers collaborative supervision, training for staff, and a chance to impact students with autism and developmental disabilities while working within integrated multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in education, psychology or related field is required.
  • Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) in PA is required.
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred.
  • Experience conducting functional behavior assessments and developing positive behavior support plans.

Responsibilities

  • Provide behavioral support supervision to RBTs and IAs working with elementary students with autism, intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities.
  • Provide consultation and training to classroom staff and other educators, administrators and families related to ABA.
  • Provide services and documents that are compliant with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
