Job summary

Devereux Educational Strategies and Solutions (DESS) seeks a Licensed Behavior Specialist to provide behavioral support supervision to RBTs and IAs in elementary settings, and to partner with school teams to implement ABA-based strategies.

This 10-month school-year role offers collaborative supervision, training for staff, and a chance to impact students with autism and developmental disabilities while working within integrated multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Masters degree in education, psychology or related field is required.
Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS) in PA is required.
Experience in school-based settings preferred.
Experience conducting functional behavior assessments and developing positive behavior support plans.

Responsibilities

Provide behavioral support supervision to RBTs and IAs working with elementary students with autism, intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities.
Provide consultation and training to classroom staff and other educators, administrators and families related to ABA.
Provide services and documents that are compliant with federal, state, and local regulations.
Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
