Gama Aviation is seeking a skilled B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join our Mobile Service Team based at Luton and to travel across the South of England and beyond on short notice.

You will certify rapid response aircraft maintenance from Mobile Support Units and line stations, growing through type and non-type training.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted UK CAA Part 66 B1 Licence with Cat A privileges on at least one of the listed type ratings.
• Extensive experience as a line/base certifying engineer, including AOG support.
• Excellent communication skills and valid UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver line scheduled and unscheduled/AOG maintenance certification to customer expectations while following GAEL policies.
• Coordinate Line and AOG events within a small team and when needed individually.
• Ensure the Mobile Service Team vehicle is provisioned, clean and ready for service before departure.
• Comply with GAEL Maintenance Organisation Expositions (EASA/CAA) and company QA procedures.
• Adhere to health, safety policies, COSHH and Staff Handbook requirements.

Position: B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer (Mobile Service Team)

Gama Aviation is a very reputable Business Aviation company, working on both fixed wing and rotary aircrafts. We are continuing to adjust to market demands, with exciting contracts and new customers being secured.

In light of this fantastic news, we are seeking a skilled B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to work as part of our successful Mobile Service Team, based at Luton and travelling at short notice throughout the South of England and occasionally worldwide locations. This is a rare opportunity to join a fantastic team of driven and talented engineers who thrive on delivering first class service and support.

This role will provide and perform certification of rapid response Aircraft Maintenance services from Mobile Support Units and line station facilities. Location: Luton Airport, covering the South of England

Hours: 5-5-4 Shift Pattern, 7am-7pm

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for Line Scheduled and Unscheduled/AOG service delivery/certification to exceed our client's expectations while remaining in compliance with GAMA Group policies and procedures.
• Working as part of a small team and individually with responsibility to co-ordinate Line and AOG events to conclusion
• Responsible for ensuring that the allocated MST vehicle is always properly provisioned, clean, and ready for service prior to leaving shift.
• Accountable for Compliance with all procedures detailed within the GAEL Maintenance Organisation Expositions (EASA/CAA)
• Accountable for Compliance with all company health and safety policies, procedures and COSHH requirements
• Accountable for Compliance with all procedures listed in the current Staff Company Handbook

Skills, Qualifications and Experience required

• An Unrestricted UK CAA Part 66 B1 Licence with at least one of the below type ratings:

Cessna Citation 560XLS

Cessna Citation 680/680A

* UK Part 66 Licence Category A must have held Cat A privileges on at least one of the type ratings listed.

• Extensive experience as a line/base certifying engineer, with experience in AOG support roles, preferably in mobile support
• Extensive aircraft maintenance experience with a wide knowledge and skill range in servicing, inspection repair and modifications
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Hold a valid Passport and UK Driving Licence
• Flexible and able to travel at short notice
• Good understanding of the concepts and requirements of SMS, Quality Assurance and Audits
• Line management experience including the ability to delegate work, set clear directions and manage workflow
• Strong mentoring and coaching skills
• Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills and foster teamwork among team members
