Job summary

Gama Aviation LLC is seeking a B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join the Mobile Service Team at Luton Airport, covering the South of England. The role involves travel to short-notice locations and occasional worldwide assignments, delivering rapid response maintenance and certification from Mobile Support Units and line stations.

You will join an established company with training provided to develop your skills, including type rating training for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted UK CAA Part 66 B1 Licence with at least one listed type rating.
• Extensive line/base certifying experience and AOG support background.
• Proven maintenance experience covering servicing, inspection, repair and modifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passport and UK driving licence held; flexible to travel on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver line scheduled and unscheduled/AOG maintenance certifications to meet client expectations.
• Coordinate Line and AOG events within a small team and independently.
• Ensure MST vehicle is provisioned, clean and ready for service before departure.
• Comply with GAEL Maintenance Organisation Expositions (EASA/CAA) and company policies.
• Adhere to health and safety COSHH requirements and Staff Handbook procedures.
