Job summary

Loughborough University Library is seeking a proactive Library Facilities and Environment Officer to shape a safe, welcoming and inspiring environment for thousands of students, staff and visitors. You will work across the Library and LU Arts spaces, delivering exceptional user experiences and supporting continuous improvement.

The role involves ensuring spaces are secure, accessible and collaborative, with opportunities to contribute to improvement initiatives and space development.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Facilities and Environment Officer or similar.
• Commitment to delivering excellent user experiences.
• Ability to work with colleagues across Library, Estates & Facilities Management, Health and Safety, and university services.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Library and LU Arts spaces remain secure, safe, accessible and welcoming.
• Support service improvements and space enhancement projects.
• Collaborate with Library, Estates & Facilities Management, Health and Safety, and wider University services.
• Contribute to collection management activities that support the Library's ambitions.
