Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking a part-time Library Assistant for Omagh Library. This temporary ongoing position starts ASAP with a two-week rota.

Duties include explaining library services and addressing community needs, with a focus on learning, information, leisure and culture. The role requires GCSEs including English and Maths (grade C or equivalent) and at least one year of face-to-face public service experience, plus ICT familiarity.

Qualifications

• Must have 5 GCSEs including English language and Maths grade C or equivalent.
• 1 year experience providing face to face service with the public.
• Experience working with young children and elderly people.
• Experience using ICT for accessing, selecting and using information.

We are currently seeking a part-time temporary ongoing part-time

Library assistant for our Client based in Omagh Library . This is an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door with a public sector body. STARTING ASAP, Working on a 2 week rota basis

Hours of work:

Week one-

Monday- 9:00 - 5:30

Tuesday- 9:00 - 5:30

Thursday - 9:00 - 5:30

Friday - No hours

Saturday - 9:00 - 16:00

Week Two

Monday - 9:00 - 17:30

Tuesday- 13:00 - 20:00

Thursday - 9:00 - 17:30

Friday - 9:00 - 17:00

Saturday - No hours
