Job summary

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Nottingham is seeking an innovative Team Manager to lead the Liaison and Diversion service. You will develop, lead and supervise a multi-disciplinary team delivering assessment, referrals and support across the criminal justice system.

We expect experience in mental health, leadership and complex case work, with a commitment to equality and inclusion. DBS clearance will be required; flexible and agile working is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in one of the core mental health professions e.g. psychiatric nursing, clinical psychology, social work and occupational therapy.
• Experience of working with people with mental health problems, particularly with complex presentations/engagement issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to lead multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Provide robust leadership and clinical/managerial supervision to the Liaison and Diversion service.
• Collaborate with colleagues to implement new service developments and improve quality using data.
• Develop effective multi-professional and multi-disciplinary team working across provision and partnerships.
• Promote interagency collaboration to facilitate information exchange and service design.
