Job summary

Biffa Group is seeking an LGV Driver for the AM shift to support our trade waste operations. You will drive LGV vehicles including front/back loaders, collecting and emptying bins for trade waste customers, working Monday to Friday in an outdoor setting.

The role requires trade waste and bulker experience, a valid LGV/HGV Class 2 licence, and a Driver CPC. You will operate safely, perform daily checks, and ensure excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Trade Waste and Bulker experience required.
• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card.
• Good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety.
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements.
• Ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Good awareness of health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins for trade waste customers.
• Work outdoors with initiative and contribute to the local environment.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Maintain safe operations and customer service during collections and deliveries.
