Job summary

Ocado Logistics is seeking an experienced LGV Instructor to train and mentor qualified LGV drivers in the classroom and on the road, ensuring they stay safe, upskilled and compliant. You’ll lead inductions, CPC courses and driver development across sites, with a 60/40 split between classroom and on-road coaching.

The role offers a 4-day week (10-hour shifts) with some pre-planned night and weekend work, and travel to other Ocado sites with mileage and hotel costs covered.

Qualifications

NRI/NVDIR qualification is desirable; support to become fully qualified if needed.
Driver CPC knowledge and up-to-date highway code/regs are required or encouraged.

Responsibilities

Train and mentor qualified LGV drivers in classroom and on-road settings.
Lead inductions, CPC courses and driver upskilling initiatives.
Ensure drivers stay safe, compliant and upskilled.
Develop driver behaviour and attitude through targeted training.
