Job summary

Yusen Logistics, in partnership with Interaction Recruitment, is seeking LGV Class 1 drivers to deliver Trade supplies to UK depots from Derby. You will drive curtain-sided trucks and complete multiple drops per shift, with on-site FLT offload and no handball required.

Ideal applicants hold a valid LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with 12 months’ recent driving experience, valid CPC and Tachograph card, experience with curtain-sided vehicles, and a clean licence (or up to six points).

Qualifications

• Hold a valid LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with at least 12 months' recent driving experience.
• Must have a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Experience driving curtain-sided vehicles and multi-drop deliveries is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver trade supplies to UK depots from Derby using curtain-sided trucks.
• Complete multiple drops per shift (3–6) with on-site FLT offload and no handball required.

Location: Derby (DE65 6BG)

Monday to Friday, ongoing work until the end of 2026.

PAYE Pay Rates - Overtime rates apply after 9 hours.

Days standard - £17.73

Days Overtime - £26.59

Nights Standard - £20.95

Nights Overtime - £29.81

The Role

As an LGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering Trade supplies to depots across the UK. You will be driving a curtain-sided vehicle and making multiple drops in a shift (3 - 6). You will be offloaded on-site by an FLT, there is no handball required as part of this role.

What We're Looking For

• A valid LGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence with at least 12 months' recent driving experience
• A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Experience driving curtain-sided vehicles
• A clean licence or no more than 6 penalty points
• Experience in multi-drop deliveries
• Excellent customer service experience

Working Hours

Monday to Friday

Start times between 06:00 and 07:00 on days and 17:00 - 20:00 on nights.
