Job summary

Interaction Recruitment are partnering with Yusen Logistics to recruit an LGV Class 1 Driver in Derby. You will deliver trade supplies to depots across the UK, driving a curtain-sided vehicle and completing multi-drop routes with efficiency and care.

Successful candidates will hold a valid LGV Class 1 licence (C+E), CPC and Digital Tachograph card, a clean licence with ≤6 points, and the ability to provide excellent customer service. Assessments are scheduled for week starting 31/08/26.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV Class 1 licence with 12 months' recent driving experience.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Experience driving curtain-sided vehicles and multi-drop deliveries.
• Clean licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Excellent customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Trade supplies to depots across the UK.
• Drive a curtain-sided vehicle and complete 3–6 drops per shift.
• Be offloaded on-site by an FLT; no handball required.

The Role

As an LGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering Trade supplies to depots across the UK. You will be driving a curtain-sided vehicle and making multiple drops in a shift (3 - 6). You will be offloaded on-site by an FLT, there is no handball required as part of this role.

What We're Looking For

• A valid LGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence with at least 12 months' recent driving experience
• A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Experience driving curtain-sided vehicles
• A clean licence or no more than 6 penalty points
• Experience in multi-drop deliveries
• Excellent customer service experience

Basic Pay Rate

• Basic Pay Rate £17.73
• OT1 - Time and a Half £26.59
• OT2 - Double Time £35.46
