Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is seeking LGV Class 1 drivers for Derby-based shifts. You will mainly deliver trade supplies to UK depots, operating curtain-sided vehicles with 3–6 drops per shift. Offloading is done on-site by FLT, and there is no handball in this role.

Working hours are Monday to Friday with day and night options; PAYE rates apply and overtime is paid after standard hours. Both full-time and part-time roles are available in Derby.

Qualifications

• Requires valid LGV Class 1 licence (C+E) with 12+ months of recent driving experience.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card essential.
• Experience driving curtain-sided vehicles and multi-drop routes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver trade supplies to depots across the UK.
• Drive a curtain-sided vehicle with 3–6 drops per shift.
• On-site handover with FLT offload; no handball required.

Location: Derby (DE65 6BG)

Monday to Friday, ongoing work until the end of 2026.

PAYE Pay Rates - Overtime rates apply after 9 hours.

Days standard - £17.73

Days Overtime - £26.59

Nights Standard - £20.95

Nights Overtime - £29.81

The Role

As an LGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering Trade supplies to depots across the UK. You will be driving a curtain-sided vehicle and making multiple drops in a shift (3 - 6). You will be offloaded on-site by an FLT, there is no handball required as part of this role.

What We're Looking For

• A valid LGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence with at least 12 months' recent driving experience
• A valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Experience driving curtain-sided vehicles
• A clean licence or no more than 6 penalty points
• Experience in multi-drop deliveries
• Excellent customer service experience

Working Hours

Monday to Friday

Start times between 06:00 and 07:00 on days and 17:00 - 20:00 on nights.
