Job summary

DPD Group is seeking a reliable LGV Driver to join our team and help keep the country moving with a modern, well-maintained fleet and GPS-driven logistics tools.

You’ll work in our national transport department, performing nationwide collections and deliveries, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and timely handovers to major customers. Excellent knowledge of UK roads and a safety-first mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 licence (Category CE) with CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 6 months experience handling Class 1 vehicles.
• Excellent geographical knowledge of UK roads and a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries, focusing on LGV-friendly locations.
• Manage trailer swaps and live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.
• Use GPS and tachographs to manage routes and remain compliant.
• Maintain professional relations with dispatchers and customers nationwide.
