Job summary

North Lanarkshire Council invites applications for a driver role based at one of our Depots across North Lanarkshire. You will operate and maintain LGV vehicles, perform checks, and complete related paperwork.

A CPC and Category C (LGV) licence are essential; Category D/E would be desirable. Temporary and permanent posts are available with a 7 over 14 day pattern. We offer 27 days annual leave, 6 public holidays and access to LearnNL.

Qualifications

• CPC is essential.
• Category C (LGV) licence is essential.
• D+E would be desirable.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, complete paperwork accurately.
• Physically capable to meet job demands.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate allocated LGV vehicles and services.
• Perform vehicle checks, routine maintenance and cleaning.
• Transport goods and people; complete related paperwork.
• Undertake ancillary duties such as snow clearing and site housekeeping.
